Soma (carisoprodol) is prescribed for the treatment of injuries and other similar musculoskeletal conditions that cause pain. If your treatment is successful your doctor will recommend gradual withdrawal from this medicine to avoid unpleasant symptoms, such as sleep problems, headache, nausea, stomach pain and convulsions.
